I finished building my rig but i have 3 concerns:
1- how to know if my vga is connected to my mobo? ( i don't want to install windows yet till i check everything working fine)
2- my case comes with 2 front fans ( 3 pins ) that have white leds, can I connect them to my mobo 4 pins chasis fans? and how can I trigger the led on and off?
3- what is the regular cpu temp because I have 37-40c while im running asus bios
my rig:
i5 4670k
evga 770gtx
asus z87 sabertooth
case: carbide 400R
psu: corsair gs700

Your temperature sounds fine. What do you mean by your vga being connected to the motherboard? Unless the fans come with a switch to turn off the LEDs I do not believe you will be able to, you can connect a 3 pin fan to a 4 pin port but you just don't get to take advantage of the control feature a 4 pin fan would be able to provide.
