I've never opened up my computer (Gateway dx4822-01) before, but I've been doing more gaming lately so I'm looking into upgrading my graphics card, probably to a Radeon HD 6670. Will that one work? I think I'll have to upgrade my power supply from 300w to 400w, too. My question is when I've been researching, I haven't been able to figure out if I'll be replacing my current card (intel g45/43) or just adding in the new one. I also saw somewhere that it might require a new hdmi cable? My monitor died a few years ago, but we had a small tv that I've been using via hdmi instead. Does that matter?

My current computer specs:

Any and all help is appreciated!

Well could u tell us how many amps does the 12V rail output? (U could find it on the PSU label when u remove the side panel) If it's 18-20A or greater better choose HD 7750 GDDR5, cuz it performs better than HD 6670 GDDR5. But if u go over HD 7770 or GTX 650 ti u may need to change the PSU.
