I need a new graphics card. Im looking for something in the 130-150$ price range. And I need help deciding which one. The only thing is im making the switch to ubuntu? Im not new to ubuntu or anything, ive just never had it as my main system. The only games I play are civ 5 and starcraft and I want start playing skyrim soon. Id also like to be able keep this card when I eventually replace my motherboard. My current interface is a PCI-E 2.0 x16. My power supply says 500W on the side of it and theres plenty of unused power plug-ins along side it. Im willing to put in extra work and time to get drivers working with the graphics card and ubuntu so long as there are walkthroughs or its not to hard. Also any suggestions as to witch version of ubuntu to use would be appreciated?

For $150 your best option is a Radeon 7850 . Sometimes these are as low as $130 with a rebate

Ubuntu is easy to use . You need to download and install the graphics driver , but its easy since Ubuntu will find that for you .
Day to day it reminds me a little more of IOS than Windows , but its a good solid stable OS
