help needed about windows xp

I am almost certain that you need to do a clean install of english version xp,you might want to check windows update for custom language updates(but i think only vista/7,8 can change languages but i am not sure even for them),you can backup the settings so when you do a clean install you can revert your winxp to how you have it now, think its called windows transfer, but i would prefer to start fresh(be sure to download drivers in advance), hope it helps
