I can't remember exactly when it happened, but when I was working on my computer, I knocked out the USB 3 header that connects to the side of the mobo, and powers the case's usb 3 ports. I have the Thermaltake Chaser Mk1 case and it can be hard to access that part of the case, but when i attempted to plug it back it, it would not go in. The plug part appeared to have marks on it where the pins had not gone in the holes on the plug. What im guessing happened is that while trying to plug the header back in, i bent one or more pins on the mobo, so that the plug can't go in. I bought a USB 3.0 extender wire, in case it was a problem with the wire itself, but it has not been able to plug in either. I also tried removing my graphics card, to get a better view of the area of the Mobo, but it was no use. I'm guessing that the pins will have to be bent back into position, but do I risk damaging my mobo in doing this?
