I recently bought a new GPU (Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 superclocked). And when under load, it makes a kind of high pitched buzz/hum.. but it's nothing really loud.. And I may only notice it because I have the side of my case off. I have read that all higher end GPUS make noise, and it's probably capacitor whine. I mean, all of my temps are fine and I don't get any kind of FPS stutter or anything. And the noise starts and stops as soon as I put strain on the card.

It's called coil whine - don't worry about it.

Some cards do that; it's annoying, but you're fine.

Okay, thanks. I figured I was safe cause I bought a 600w PSU and it's a brand new card with no performance or heating issues.

Yep. If you get really annoyed by it you can return it and see if a new card has the same problem, but I doubt it's worth the hassle.
