Hei there, i am new here and just wanted to ask you if its possible to run a HD 7970 OC on a PCIe 2.0 with no LAG or performance drop.

I want to buy this one : Sapphire Radeon HD 7970

Yep, all pcie versions, 3.0 to 2.0 in this case, are backwards compatible, there is a technical loss in performance, but its nothing that will show up in gameplay or tests.

There wont be any fps loss so no worries there!

If there is a loss, it will be only a few %. Not worth worrying about.

Do you suggest any PSU for the GFX?
ATM i have a HEDY EU 550w PSU, can't find anything on the internet lol.
