G.Skill RAM not running at 2133

I just want to start off by saying that i know that i have to manually set the clock speed for my memory if its rated higher than 1600. But when i do this, i get a red dram led on my mobo essentially saying that its not working. I've read up a little bit and my first assumption is that i might have to update my bios to use this ram. Any help will be greatly appreciated! (Build listed below)

AMD a10-6800k
Motherboard: Asus F2a85-v PRO
Memory:G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C10D-8GXM

Look for an XMP, DOCP or EOCP setting which are DRAM profiles, find one of those and enable, select 2133 and should be good
