I would like some help on what I should be looking for in a computer for video and photo processing. I am also very impatient and cannot stand looking at the hourglass. I do not replace my computer often so I am looking to spend $2,000 - $2,500 on it.

The basic specs I think I will need (may be overkill) are:

CPU i7-4770k x 2 (thinking two CPU's will help for multi-tasking while video processing???)
32 gb ram
512 gb ssd
3 TB sata x 2
dual voltage power supply (I live overseas and will come back to the US in next couple of years)

I mainly need help on what type of motherboard, video card, compatability, and such.

Although I am will to pay for the system I would like to get best bang for buck.

Thanks all in advance.

There are no LGA1150/5 dual socket motherboards. The only choice for dual CPU board is socket 2011, but not on x79 chipset, so no overclocking is possible, and supported CPUs are Xeons only. It sounds nice, but is above your budget. Even if it weren't that expensive, I wouldn't recommend it.

So, if you want something more than a 4770k, get a hexa-core and X79 board, like in the setup below. Depending on your needs you can get a cheaper graphics card (if no gaming is intended) and more RAM (another 32GB kit) if you are going for some heavy video creation in AE.

This is if you want to buy it now. If you can wait, give it another month and get i7-4930k, which supposedly will be priced around $400. Rest of the setup will remain the same.

I will be buying in the next month so will wait as you suggest. My needs on a day-to-day basis are not great but I before I learn to video edit and use photoshop I don't want to learn on an old machine. Gaming is not an issue for me. I can afford to spend more if you think it would be appropriate.

Thanks for the help Bejusek. It is greatly appreciated.

If that's the case, I think you would be perfectly happy with 4770k, 16GB of RAM and cheap graphics card like 650ti. You could save $500 easily.
But as I said, give it another month, think it over. If 4930k will be really priced at $400 it will be a good bargain. Now $500 for 3930k is pretty expensive, especially when compared to 4770k in terms of performance.
