Ok so today I OCd my card. Id been trying it out for a few days. Last night, I overvolted to try it out, by 12 volts. Did some benchmarks, everything seemed fine. So today, I'm playing skyrim with the voltage still on and i start to smell something burning, like plastic or rubber. It freaked me out because this is a new build, as well as my first. I think maybe I'm smelling things but my friend comes home and says Whats that smell? So i freak out, unplug everything, check the insides several times. I can't find the smell with my nose. Not the GPU CPU PSU nothing. So I turn it off, go to work, and when i get back my room stinks from the episode. I take the comp to another room, power it on, and after 15-30 minutes im smelling it again. It's not OCd or anything. Is this a PSU problem? Also, I DID increase the fan power % like right before I started smelling the smell. Could a fan be blowing out? PLEASE HELP!!

specs:
processor: I7 3770k

Just installed a 130mm fan before i went to work too.

Solution
Check your CPU temps, and your GPU temps. CPU shouldn't be higher than 70c+ when under full load. And GPU shouldn't be higher than 100c+.
