Asus gt 640 weird black lines help

Here are the black lines that appear on the screen I have re-installed windows, used new drivers, used old driver and all appear to not have changed anything.
maybe its your cable if that isn't it then your card is almost dead or i could be your display

It's the cable as I have tried it with HDMI port as well and it does the same thing, also it's quite a new graphics card so I can't see it being broken already.

It's the cable as I have tried it with HDMI port as well and it does the same thing, also it's quite a new graphics card so I can't see it being broken already.
graphics cards fail short after you buy them (about3 months afer you get it) or when they are older best thing you can do is return it also what brand and wattage is your psu and what cpu do you hav (power schortages can also do that)
