overclocking dual core e5500

i need to overclock my dual core e5500 for battlefield 3 multiplayer so that at least increase my fps by 5-10 can someone help me which software i use and how can i do it safely
intel dg41rq
4gigabytes of ram
msi gtx 650 ti 1gb
thermaltake light power 450 w

if that chips (e5500) is anything like my e5200 i used to have, 2.5ghz @3.8ghz without even trying its good for overclocking but that motherboard you have is a p.o.s. and im not sure it even supports overclocking but if it does bump the fsb to 266 (1333) should be able to do this without even altering any voltages to start with and go up from there. unfortunately bf3 gets held back by most dual cores my friend has an overclocked c2d e8400 much faster than yours and it hold back his hd7870 in a big way with bf3. i would suggest a new cpu and maybe if you can get an old core 2 quad 'CHEAP' (dont spend alot on it its not worth it!) that will drop straight in your mobo and overclock that if your mobo supports it is your best solution a...
