Okay so to my knowledge the only key affected by my current problem is the
" ¨¨ "key or when holding in the alt key at the same time the "^^" key
So my problem is that whenever i want to type with this key i HAVE to hold it in for say 3 seconds instead of normally where i'd just press it twice/hold in alt and press it twice. The occurrence of this problem seems to have surfaced pretty much randomly and no damage has been absorbed by my keyboard before or after i realized this. I have had sticky-keys disabled for as long as i can remember and they still are. The key itself works fine but the nature of how to get it to type has been altered to a way that renders it time consuming and annoying.
This might be a tricky one but i'll take any advise
edit: it seems i also can't make an apostrophe over a letter say like the e in Pokemon (silly example but i'm trying my best here)
