So, I've tried streaming 720p video on both Twitch.tv and Youtube today in numerous browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox), and even though I can almost always get flawless stream quality, I just cant go over 360p today.

Speedtest is saying my connection is as good as it should be (1450 kB/s), and since it's what it usually is, I should have no problems streaming it.
Here is my Speedtest result: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/2902514878
Here is the stream in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX3VTBvaoI4
Streaming on my Galaxy S2 works just fine.

How to fix this?

Usually when there is a general lag, people complain in the chat, but this time I don't see any complaints+the stream doesnt lag on my Galaxy S2 so I know it's something with my computer.

Usually yes, but right now it's only me and I still have the lag.

Intel Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, nVidia GeForce 8800 GT, Windows 7 64-bit.

Not an outstanding computer but I usually don't have problems with watching streams (especially since I can play a game+listen to music+have 6-7 chrome tabs open).

I joined the trial, restarted the browser and nothing changed (player is still the same afaik, lags are still there).

I'm using adblocker, but I just went incognito (which disables all addons) and the lag persists. I did not actually try the youtube stream on my phone, I used the twitch one ( http://www.twitch.tv/riotgames ) and it works fine (I play it through Twitch android app). No idea what's causing it, never had such a problem before.

So, now the 720p (not 720p+ though!) works on Twitch for me which is pretty good, on Youtube still can't go over 480p. Well I guess it's problem fixed for now since 720p is okay, although I don't really know what fixed it nor what is still causing the lag at 720p+ on Twitch and 720p on YouTube. Thanks for the help guys, though.
