Question About Gigabyte GTX 770 and Fans.

I am probably, (after all my moaning, groaning and hassle deciding what card to get) going to go with Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB.

Now, I am getting Fractal Design Define R4 Case WITHOUT the window, and I'm getting the Silent Series R2 140mm fans for the top, back, side, rear and bottom.

Now, for the side fan, would I put that as intake or exhaust?

I'm stumped.

Thanks in advance for the responses I get :)

Solution
Probably intake, the top and back should be the main/only exhausts. Also, look into the two types of pressure, negative and positive, that you can apply to you case. Negative pressure pulls air into the case, so any small cracks or slits will be pulling air in through them, this makes the system a bit dustier but potentially cooler. I use positive pressure, which pushes air into the case, forcing air out of the small cracks or slits, that way if you filter all your intakes theoretically you have a dust proof case by simply keeping the filters clean. Some dust will still get in but it vastly improves the situation. Just an FYI to think about, negative pressure has more exhaust than intake, positive has more intake than exhaust.

I'm probably going to go positive, because, like you and as huchman said, the side and front fans should be intake.

So both of you thank you!

Now, I am purchasing the Corsair H100i Hydro Series CPU Cooler, does that take up the top fan spaces?
