Before you say anything please let me explain. My friend is totally clueless when it comes to building computers and even though he doesnt play on buying this until July I told him it was pointless for me to post it for him. He practically begged me though so whatever. By the way to show how un knowledgable he is...he asked me what a power supply does...*facepalm* never the less he is a great software programmer so I would like to see what you come up with. Here we go!

Approximate Purchase Date: July 1st 2014

Budget Range: 1000-1200

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Rendering, gaming, streaming, programming.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM) CPU GPU

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Location: Portland, Oregon, USA

Parts Preferences: (non intel if possible) Edit: Asked him why...apparently his programs dont like intel...whaat?????

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: no Edit: He will in the future

Your Monitor Resolution: biggest possible (within reason) -.-

Additional Comments: Adobe after effects, cinema 4d, sony vegas pro 11, cod *Scrub* ;), BF, crysis 3.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: takes too long to render a 4 minute video. (over 24 hours for 5 minutes) Has a terrible laptop from 2007.
