My current case on my computer is an Apevia X Tropper Mid Tower with Blue LED 200m fan. I want to upgrade my case now since I have some extra money left over because I plan to buy a Hyper 212+ and an i7. The Hyper 212+, or any aftermarket cooler will not fit in my current case, there isn't enough room.

So, I would like a case that can fit at least a Hyper 212+, if its a tight fit thats fine, I would also like to be able to place a H100i (I know the Corsair one will fit). Price is also a plus I will most likely go for the cheapest but I want a big case so it will fit larger graphics card, etc for the future. I am debating between these two

NZXT Phantom PHAN-001BK ($142 with tax/shipping) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146068

Corsair Carbide Series 500R ($111 with tax/shipping, $25 promo code and there is also an additional $20 mail-in rebate making this the cheapest case, I did not subtract the rebate from the $111 though) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139009

In terms of looks I do prefer the NZXT however the Corsair will give me the best bang for mah buck, would it still fit a Hyper 212+ though?

A friend of mine built his new rig with a NZXT Phantom. He really likes it and is using a Hyper 212+ EVO. I can't really say much about it myself as I have not built any rig with less than a Full Tower Case. Current one I am using is a In Win GRone White and really like it.

What is the main thing you will be using your rig for? If it is for gaming you might want to consider a i5 3570K and save the extra $100 and put some of for a better case. Just a thought but I can say without a doubt a i5 3570K with good GPU can handle any game out there with no problems what so ever. But then it all really depends on what you will be doing with your rig.

That corsair case is not the best bang for your buck. I love my Cooler Master HAF932 but I want to cut the eSATA off because i don't use it.

I love Cooler Master personally, but either way go with a Full Tower so you don't have to replace another mid at a later date.

Um, what? Between the two cases I have selected the Corsair is the cheapest, thats what I meant. Its $70 with the $25 off and $20 mail in rebate compared to the NZXT which is a whopping $142. The Cooler Master HAF932 on newegg says its $160, I click it and it changes to $209. I am not spending more than around $120 on a case because simply thats a waste and I dont have the money. I still really enjoy the look of the NZXT Phantom and it is full tower while the Corsair is mid tower but the corsair still offers a lot of space. Don't know what to do.

Also, ive decided that I want a H100i rather than a Hyper 212+ (This is in the future)
