Ok, so I've chosen my parts for the build and here they are: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1sgwW and I wanna know if this build would be fine for editing/gaming and whether I should make changes to some of the parts that won't drastically alter the price and I'm only asking you to change the parts for the build if you think you can improve it, not the peripherals. Thanks for reading and answering.

Solution
get this instead. for editing, you will need the extra ram. if you do this quite often however, upgrade to the 4770k instead
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1sgOs

also note, do not get the speakers unless you actually use them a lot as the monitor i picked out has a set of speakers already. they arent great but they will do the job for the most part

I agree with a couple things he said. Although 16gb of ram is unnecessary as video editing is processor dependant usually. 4670k is good enough for anything you want to do. 8gb is sufficient unless you find an excellent deal on RAM.

Grab one of the new Samsung 840 EVO's that just came out. They are insane. Also, if you are gaming you'll need a gaming mouse / keyboard. And the 7950 is a better deal than the 760 unless you go with 4gb. Which 3 is sufficient for you.

definitely not recommending the 840 evos until they are cheaper than the competiton price per gb. in real life you arent going to tell the difference between the SSDs anyways. benchmarks are pointless when you arent going to see a benefit in day to day usage

the 4gb cards are a waste of time. at whatever resolution, it performs the same as the 2gb variant. and even if it performs better at extreme situations, it wont make or break a in game setting

$180 for a 250? I'll take that anyday. Most SSD's are very similar. You'd be crazy if you didn't get a 250 for that price. The SSD has RAPID with it which makes it insane.

You don't know what games he's going to be playing 4GB may be needed for what he wants to do.

''so why are you continuing to push for the 4gb card when its known that it will not help you in either situation. ''

let vpahel decide , it was just a suggestion ... i have the right to give my sugestion and vpahel have the right to ignore my sugestion too..
so here is a forum to help with sugestion with the best we can do , so i d ont understand why you told me that????

Well, thanks for the answer and this is finally what I have chosen:
CLICK ON ME! I AM THE FUTURE BUILD!
I made changes to the motherboard,, the mouse, removed the speakers from the build because I always use headphones, let me know if you still wanna make some changes and thanks again.

Honestly, my friend has a Titan, when he runs Skyrim with a few mods, his VRAM usage is up around 3gb. Your logic?

a titan can actually make use of the vram given the larger memory bus and the fact that the GK110 is powerful enough to drive it. we are talking about a gk104 chip who is limited to a 256bit bus and is made to use 2gb of vram. if nvidia decided that it was a good idea to have 4gb of vram on their 2gb video cards, they would have done so in the first place

its like having a titan with 12gb of vram. is it going to realistically help it perform better? no

i was talking about MULTIMONITORs GAMING ONLY...
for only one monitor 2GB is enough . it s what i tried to explain before , this is just a suggestion for '' vpahel '' if he want to play game in multiple monitors in the futur , a lot of gamers like to play with more then one monitors thats it!.

this is a good configuration because of the 3GB gpu.
