Kindly help, info is in the link above. My rig has been replaced with almost new components because of power failure the store cannot determine the reason why. Now its broken again. It would work, but after a day or two, it would not power on anymore.

When I press the power button, light would just blink once, then nothing else happens. No fan, no keyboard light, no nothing.

Before all that, during game plays, it would either hang, crash to desktop or restart.

No it's okay, it's just very hard to determine what is wrong with it from the information your giving me. And an incompatibility between the CPU and motherboard would likely be more like trying to build a tower with legos and balls, they just won't fit together. Maybe you could list the components in the PC?
EDIT: Sorry I see you had the specs posted. Make...

I think everything is wired correctly, 'cause it used to work fine. If it's the motherboard, i what way the motherboard could damage other components? 'Cause the first time I returned it to the store, I think they replaced almost all parts. Also could an incompatible processor and motherboard damage this much? I'm sorry if I'm just asking away, I'm not good at computers.

EDIT: Sorry I see you had the specs posted. Make sure that the 20+4 pin ATX motherboard power cable is powered in (the really big wire running from the PSU to the motherboard: if you don't know what this is, look it up on google). Also you could try reseating the RAM (pulling it out and putting it back in). It could also be that the Power supply is not powerful enough to power that setup and that could explain random powering down you describe. If you don't feel comfortable messing with the internals yourself, you could always take it back to the store again, but since this has apparently happened twice now, I suspect they didn't fix the problem at all. Try the above recommendations and get back to me. Good luck!!

Thanks. I would try to look inside but I took them back to the store, together with the avr and extension cables as their request so they can really figure out the problem.

I assumed you've seen the answers in my link? The third one, do they really need to bios flash the motherboard to accept the 3rd gen. i3 processor? And what damage could it cause if it wasn't flashed?

Also, they're installing demo of windows 7 so they could try if the rig is working, back at home, I would install a new copy of OS, then the CDs of the video card, motherboard, etc., let's say it's already flashed, since installing a new OS would reformat the whole thing, does it need to be bios flashed again?

I do not know specifics on that motherboard, but if it is flashed, it will stay this way unless you change it directly. Installing an OS does not affect your motherboard, just the harddrive, so it will not interfere with the BIOS. I hope the store fixes it once and for all for you, because this sounds really fristrating to deal with.

the PSU is brand new. I have no idea if the BIOS is updated, I would ask the store, if it's not, would that make this much damage? The first time I went to the store to replace the items, they're smelling the parts and I think they're burned. What can you make out of these? PSU problem? Motherboard?

The store actually said it's fixed, replaced the videocard. I'm not really good at computers but given that they already replaced the videocard the first time and then still broke, I having my doubts. What you guys think? You agree with the store? Its the videocard?

having a brand new psu does not mean its adequate for your setup and cheaper brands often cant produce their rated power. If your having power issues its logically the first place to start.

If the videocard overheated and caught on fire, maybe, but I really doubt it. I agree that its probably the PSU, but I guess we will just have to see if they really fixed it
