I just finished putting my system together and yesterday it was fine. Today I downloaded speed fan from almico, and everything ran fine for about an hour. But now my computer won't boot up and if it even turns on it will only run for 5-10 minutes. What I'm wondering is if it's a PSU issue, mobo issue or software issue. The lights on my mobo work fine and I ran a test on the PSU about a week ago and it was working then. So I'm not to sure what the issue is.

Please list your components. What does it do? Power off, BSOD, reboot? What is exactly going on? Can you monitor temps? If so please watch to see if it is a heat issue. There is no way to test the PSU unless you have the proper load and analysis equipment. So not sure how you tested it. From what you describe I would say it is a PSU issue. Check to be sure all the PSU power connectors to the MB and other devices are well seated and locked in the sockets. You can remove and re-seat them to be sure.

As soon as I starting having issues I deleted speed fan, and the other app that came with it. My computer usually just shuts down, but sometimes it will try to reboot itself but to no avail. I should also mention that I am also having trouble turning it on now.
