Battlefield 3 help!

I need some help. I just bought battlefield 3 recently and i have been having problems FPS wise. I get about 25-35 fps even on the lowest settings and i don't know why. I have a GTX 660 2GB of dedicated ram, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, AMD FX 4100 3.6Ghz Quad core. I don't understand how my computer can't even run the game on the LOWEST settings at a stable 60 fps. Any help would be appreciated.

Are your drivers up to date? Your set up should enable you to play this game with medium-high settings. The reason I know this is because I had a very similar cpu/gpu combination previously. It might be worth rolling back a driver to see if that resolves the situation. Have you tried playing any other games and how do they run?
