Case fan wont turn on???

Hey guys,

I just built my computer, but when I turned it on for the first time, I noticed that the side panel fan wont spin up. Here are the relevant parts:

Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced
ASUS P9x79 PRO mobo

The front, top, and rear fans are all plugged into the power supply and are working just fine. For cable management concerns, I want to connect the side panel fan directly into the motherboard. However, when I do this, the side panel fan just wont spin up.

I'm not sure if this is just a wiring problem or are the fan headers on my motherboard dead? I tried two fan headers, and they both did not work. But i don't think this theory is true since my CPU fan is plugged in and working just fine. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

If you are sure the fan connector is plugged into the header properly, the fan could be dead. Less likely, but possible, is that the MB is defective. Try another fan in the MB headers.
