New BF4 ready PC - need help ?

Hi,

I want to change my actual PC in order to run games like Battlefield 4 and Total War: Rome II. Here is a 1600$ budget build that I plan to buy next summer. Just for you to know, but I live in Canada and here, the components are more expensive than in the US. Is this build OK ?

Case: Corsair Carbide 500R

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K Haswell 3.4 GHz

Heatsink: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO

Motherboard: ASUS Z87-Plus

GPU: EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked 2 GB

Power supply: Seasonic X-650 GOLD

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB

SSD: Adata XPG SX900 120 GB

Memory: Adata XPG V2 8 GB @ 1600 MHz

More about bf4 ready
  1. I have a 7950 and its supposed to run bf4 so you definitely should be able to run bf4 as well
  2. Next summer? 90% of your list is going to be outdated. AMD is going to release cards that will smash the gtx 770 in 2 months. Don't waste your time building a list now. Build one when you're ready to buy. The landscape a year from now is going to look a lot different that it does right now.
  3. its like playing leap frog lol AMD -> NVIDIA -> AMD -> NIVIDIA just keeps going lol but yes build when you are ready to build and get the best you can afford, the gpu does lots of the work compared to the cpu :)

Honestly, you're fine, a GTX 770 is a Top of the line card, it's the 5th best card in the world, plus you have a pretty good CPU, you're pretty much ready
  5. Looks good! I've said this many times, but its true: If BF4 is anything like Crysis 3, the GTX770 should run Crysis 3 at MAX 30+ FPS
