My first custom built PC

I am building my first pc. Is this going to be good build. Is this PC going to run battlefield 3 on high i dont want ultra. And can i play gta 5 when it comes out and maybe even battlefield 4.
There are the components

Power supply
Ram 8gb stick
Motherboard can i get any of these cheap LGA 1155 motherboards i dont think they are very important for gaming

Thats it and do i need to overclock my cpu because i dont want it to overheat. Can i just play with 3.4ghz.

Thank you

More about custom built
  1. do not overclock unless you have a good aftermarket cooler, i recommend a sealed liquid cooler :)
don't skimp out on the motherboard, spend a good amount on it, its incharge of your whole computer after all :)
  2. whats ur budget and location
  3. I would get a MoBo with dual channel memory and get 2x4GB RAM. And if you have the money you should get a 64 or 128 GB SSD to put your operating system and frequently used apps on because its much faster. Also 850 watts is a lot of power if you have a 7870 and an 3570K. Its not bad but you dont need that much power unless you are using CrossFire or SLI.
