Im having issues getting the motherboard in. Ive got all my standoffs in the right spot but Im afraid of damaging the motherboard. I think last time I tried getting it in I may have very slighlty scratched the bottom of the board near a standoff. Im hoping this isnt going to negatively impact anything.

As long as you have used stand offs you should be fine. You are doing what you should be doing when installing your motherboard just be careful not to pass static to your board and you are fine.

Hey so now I actually figured out I dont think the standoffs that came with my case fit inside the hole of my motherboard? Thats the only conclusion I can come too, I took an extra standoff and tried to get it through and it wont go, do i need new standoffs?

Yea I would find new stand offs. There may be different sizes I can't say I've ran across this issue.
