I'm building a new system tomorro and I'm a first time builder in need of fan configuration advice so heres what you need to know:
Case- Bitfenix Shinobi non-windowed
1 exhaust fan pre-installed at the rear of the case
CPU cooler- Artic cooling Freezer 7 pro rev 2
Mother Board- Asus z87-k
PSU- Corsair CX600m
Extra fans- None (planning on getting some)
This computer will be used on carpet
I would like to find the most efficient cooling path possible with what I have. I was thinking of having the psu fan pointing up towards the inside of the case, switching the pre-installed fan around to intake and then having the cpu fan exhaust pointing towards the intake fan. Your suggestions? Do you think I should go with what I'm thinking or just leave the pre-installed fan and just have the psu fan pointing upwards?
you dont want your psu fan to push hot air inside the case after put the side one as intake and the cpu fan to push air toward it use the back one as exaust but if you could i use a front one to send fresh air in and had a top as exaust .
