Hey I am new to PC gaming and I wanted Skyrim for it. The problem with that is that I played way too much of it on console and now I am kind of bored. I am bored because I played through all the types of characters you can be (mage,warrior,etc.). I want to know if there is a game that is very similar to Skyrim that I can play to fit my needs. Or even better some ideas to get back into skyrim. Thanks.

Mods fix the broken P.O.S. game Bethesda released... A lot of mods fix bugs, improve combat, improve story, improve graphics, and etc. The only mods that ruin the game would probably be ones that don't seem lore friendly if you're into those things or if your game CTDs from a conflict with another mod. Also the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC is worth buying so the legendary edition is worth it. Some mods also require some of those three DLC so it's good to be safe and buy the whole package.

Try out some mods: http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/10/28/the-25-best-skyrim-mods-2/

On top of mods, you're talking about just about any RPG ever.

Consider playing an MMO like World of Warcraft or Dungeons and Dragons Online (which has the added bonus of being free), or a solo rpg like Diablo or Titan Quest, or even other story-based games like BioShock Infinite.

You can also find The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind on steam for cheap, and if you've never played it, you should - to many gamers, myself included, that was the pinnacle of the elder scrolls games.

After playing skyrim 200+ hours on console(I live in middle of nowhere and classes were easy), and 250 hours on pc, I found that trying different multi-player games brought one of the few aspects skyrim was lacking.

If you mean similar as in it being sort of medieval then try previous Elder Scrolls games with mods. If you mean similar by genre then Mass Effect, Fallout, or for console (Dragon's Dogma and Dark Souls).

Do you think I should by the Skyrim legendary edition so I can get the DLC? I definitely want to get back in to it because I get the most enjoyment out of it. This time I definitely will not use glitches to rank up because that could have spoiled it. So is DLC worth it? Also don't mods ruin the game? Sorry I ask so many questions. You can consider me as a complete pc noob.

Mods don't ruin the game, they only add more immersion 99% of the time.
