(2x GTX 660 TI vs 1x GTX 760)
Hey guys, I was wondering what your thoughts were on this. I'm looking to get SLI GTX 660 TI but I was wondering how it stacks against the GTX 760.. To me SLI means less stress on the card which could lead to a longer life span but the 760 is pretty cheap right now too... So! Any tips/opinions?

P.S.
I already own one GTX 660 TI. This is just an upgrade. (Mainly for gaming FPS/RPGs)

SLI does NOT mean a longer life span - quite the opposite. It means more heat in the case, less airflow for the card, more voltage for the motherboard to deal with. It also makes your gaming reliant on driver support. (Also, graphics cards are designed to run under load - unless you're running them at 100% 24/7, you're absolutely fine, and will want to sell the card because it's obsolete before it breaks just from use.)

Why do you want the upgrade? What games are you not getting the desired performance in, and what are you looking for out of them?

My motherboard does support it and I have no issues or bottlenecks for SLI .. At least I think I don't.
i5 Quad Core @ 3.40 GHz.
Z77 Motherboard
750 W PSU.(Forgot which one)

I usually have multiple-games running @ once or even multiple copies of the same game & streaming (Which does bring my FPS down quiet a bit).
It's also.. not going to lie here kind of been a dream of mine to SLI (Which I have never done before. Silly, I know.).

As far as cooling I think I'll be alright... Might add water cooling at some point too.

@Bruce my psu isn't some off-brand one I just can't remember which it is.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Much appreciated. Looks like I'm going to go with the 660s.
