Hey forum,
today I bought a second HD7950. I'm trying to run them in crossfire together. I added the bridge and enabled it in Catalyst. My issue is im not sure if its installed properly or something. When I turn on the computer, both cards power on (fans spinning). But when I log into windows the new cards fans turn off. I'm running Windows 8 x64 and have a CX750 powersupply. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure crossfire keeps the second card off until it is needed, but i could be wrong. Have you tried playing games?

Yeah I thought the same thing, or atleast thats what I assumed. Ill try it again with a game, and see if it kicks on.

I have the same cards. The second one will turn on when it is needed. You are supposed to see a crossfire symbol in the top right when you first start up a game that uses it. I have not seen this however so let me know if it works for you and what game it was.
