Hello, After seeing how amazing and wonderful Battlefield 4 looks, I've decided its time to finally build a PC and step away from consoles. Basically I'm starting from scratch and with limited knowledge, So that's why I'm asking for your help. I would like to run Battlefield 4 at high settings at around 60fps (if that's possible) for roughly $800 I can do more if you guys think it's necessary, but i have extra money for the peripherals, If you could list your build in PC parts picker that would be extremely helpful, Thanks.

I really can't recommend Intel in a $800 build. You're looking at an i3 that will struggle with BF4 because of its 2 cores. If you put an i5 you will lose some serious GPU power that you could have with the FX 6300. Obviously its your build, your choice. AMD is working on BF4 are with likely be pretty optimized for it. Again your choice, but I cannot recommend an i3 for gaming, especially with BF4. An i5 will give you a bad GPU as well( maybe a 7770). Anyways I hope this helps, feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Don't get an OCZ PSU, its not a very reputed PSU.

That PSU is junk. Get a unit from antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic.

Really really hard to have a $800 PC that includes an OS and Monitor that could run BF4 Max @ 1080p.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1svmg this is the best I can think of so far, that includes a HD7970 Ghz Ed, a 750W 80+ Gold Rated PSU that will allow for future Crossfire and an FX6300 that allows for OC. You cannot have an Intel build which allows for OC that would play BF4 at sensible settings @ 1080p because Intel OC CPU starts at ~$220 for current generations. If you can pull ~$900, I highly recommend the GTX770 over the HD7970(this comes with 3 games as of now).

This is a very good build, the PSU is probably too expensive though and the motherboard is a bit cheap. I'd go for the PSU included in my build(XFX) and a 990 chipset. But its very good anyways.

well i didnt know i was able to fit a 7970 ghz in a 800$ budget. I think you are confused though because i dont need a monitor in the 800$ as you said in the first sentence in this reply, anyways thanks that build looks really good!

You do know the psu he recommended is the same price as the one you recommended? Just saying so should i got with the 750w just in case i go crossfire? Or is xfx better than EVGA?
