First Build Gaming PC around $700

Hello,

Ive never built a computer before but wanted to make a decent gaming setup with an SSD for around $700. Any tips/part lists you can offer would be much appreciated as I have no idea what parts are newest/best etc..

If your using a non k CPU use a h87 mb. Asroc mb for the price are not bad.
If your using a k CPU get the z87 mb. Like the pro4. For ram crucial lp 1600 ram. There gskill areirs ram that good. Look for is 1600 speed with 9-9-9-24 and 1.5 v. That set up will work in most new mb.

I recommend this over an Intel build because you can overclock it a fair bit if you want and no Intel's at this price overclock. The FX 8320 is a wicked value at that price. This should be able to max many games at 1080p easily.

Thanks for your help. I decided to increase my budget to 800 and was thinking of an i5 4570 processor ($200), and a SAPPHIRE 100352-3L Radeon HD 7950 3GB video card ($200)? I dont know what to get as far as motherboard/ram. Would you recommend over 8GB?

I have no experience overclocking, but im thinking its not too difficult. I was leaning intel cuz ive heard good things about the i5.
