I really need help as this has been bugging the shit out of me for hours. This is my first build and so far pretty frustrating. Up until this error evrything was smooth sailing. Now ive got this error chassis intruded, fatal system error, and no I cannot disable it. My m/b is an asus m5a97 and apparently other ppl have had these issues. At this point Im at a loss, Im about to return it unless somebody can help me out, Id greatly appreciate it.

Solution
In The bios is a setting to turn it off if you turned it on by mistake. If you changed something in the bios you could made the system unstabled. May want to clear the CMOS or go into the bios and set back to factory defaults.
With new builds you have to install the mb chipset driver first the the gpu drivers.

Thanks for replying man. Yea there is no option in the bios to disable it, ive tried that. Figures I would pick up this motherboard with this horrible feature. But anyways I might try setting the setting back to default otherwise Im just going to return it and get a different motherboard, ive been working on this all day, frustrating.

Thanks for the reply. Yea i fixed it this morning after talking to an asus technician. What happened is one of my jumper caps fell off at one point, I found it put in on the right pins Ive been good since.
