Asrock fx990 extreme 3 supports corsair 1866 mhz ram ?

I wonder if my mobo supports these rams because they looks 1333 mhz on bios.

when i check that website below, it look my mobo doesnt support my rams.

what should i do if it is correct? do i have to change my rams?

it looks to me like your motherboard will support that RAM, actually.
the pin layout is the same, and your motherboard will actually support up to 32gb.

so why they look 1333 mhz on bios.

actually today i will format my pc. I didnt intall anything about my new mobo or bios. perhaps after format then installing driver the problem might be disappear but i dont really sure it is a problem ??

I think your motherboard makes your ram act at 1333.

I wouldn't worry about it. There may be a bios update, I would look for that. I don't think it would be a driver problem, or anything a format would fix.

I ve just read a article about my rams (CORSAIR CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9R 2*4GB, 1866Mhz) . they normally looks 1333 mhz on bios. With an overclock u change to 1866 mhz to the rams. Is it possible and how ??

well, you have to go into your BIOS and manually update it.
but it could make your computer not boot, so make sure you are careful.
