Hey, I recently get the motherboard to pair with proc. A8-5600k . The problem is;

a) It only support ddr3 ram, is there really no way to make ddr2 compatible by any way?

b) No display on the screen. Well, would it display if I dont insert Ram ( error screen)? (Does this Bios has those beep code?)

do not try and put your DDR2 ram into that motherboard, it won't work. and you might hurt your motherboard.
DDR3 will only fit into it.
there will be nothing showing up with no RAM.
if you can get me the make/model of your motherboard i can show you decent ram to get.

Asus F2A85M-LE . So the motherboard will not make a beep sound indicating an error like the old Mobo?

Is it doing that? I think that's just an error saying that you have no ram. You need ram for the computer to work.

your motherboard takes DIMM ram. 32 gb max.

The website wrote ;

2 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 2400(O.C.)/2250(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory

Ref: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/F2A85M_LE/#specificati...

However, the manual book has a list of ram (F2A85M-LE Motherboard qualified vendors list ).

Can I simply just buy any DDR3 cards like 1600/1333 or 1066 of any brands that were not lists in asus manual as long as it is ddr3?
