Hi, I just built a computer, and after Installing the OS, It lists under device manager 5 unknown device's.

-Ethernet Controller
-PCE Simple Communications Controller
-SM Bus Controller
-USB Controller
-Unkown Device

I'm not able to connect to the internet either,, and I suppose this might be a reason why.
Any help on what I should do at this point regarding fixing the unkown device issue would be great. I'm also not able to update the driver due to not having internet connection, but my roomate's laptop does have internet connection.

What is the o/system and the pc? You need to download the drivers for devices listed, unzip them, copy them to blank cd, load them on your machine, run them.

Heh Heh, easy done. Do tell us if it gives the ethernet cos you can get widows 7 to fix anything still missing.
