B85 mobo good for casual gaming and basic video and picture editing?

Dear guys, I am looking at a mobo which I do not OC.

I use stock cooling plus a cheapo casing(with fans of cause)

Running gtx770 single card no intention to SLI

Ram @ 16gb 1600mhz stock

One SSD for OS, one HD for storage.

Very straight forward setup NO OC.

Will anyone tell me why I shouldnt go for a B85 mobo? looking at Asus

Please any mobo pros, let me know will there be any problem.

Deepest appreciation.
Cheers.

That's fine - you don't need anything more.

Any board from a moderately reputable vendor (e.g. Asus, MSI, GB, ASRock) is fine. You might want four RAM slots though.

I'd probably recommend the i5-4430, unless you want to go serious on the video/picture work.

    Thanks for your recommendation.

Why not many people recommend B85 mobos? I find it cheap and good. :)
  3. Because of a couple of things: they don't have SSD caching, but you're using a full SSD, so that doesn't matter, and they can't SLI/CF/OC. Which you're not doing. Usually those people will go for lower-end chips, which won't run on this (because Haswell i3s aren't out yet).
