Hi all, I'm new to the forum so if i make any mistakes on the post please excuse me!
So basically, the problem started when i updated my bios version without much.. knowledge/anticipation. I have two hard drives, one that came with the new laptop i bought about 2~3 weeks ago which has windows 8 installed (which i'm using right now) and another with windows 7(64x) installed with all my important files and such. While I was using that windows 7 harddrive i decided to update my BIOS version, like the "SW Updater"(which comes with the samsung laptops I believe) suggested. As soon as I did that, the laptop restarted and it would not go past the BIOS menu. When i press the F10 button on boot up it won't show any other boot options. I decided to install the other hard drive with windows 8 installed and it works perfectly fine! What could be the problem? I'm going to go ahead and guess that the bios version i updated doesn't support windows 7 or something? I wouldn't be this desperate if i just had backed up my harddrive which i decided i should do after the bios update -_-. I hope I haven't lost anything from updating the bios.. Please help! Emergency!
My Laptop Specs
Samsung Model: NP350V5C-A01US
Processer : Intel core i5-3120M CPU @ 2.50 GHZ
BIOS version : American Megatrends Inc. P09ABE, 2013-07-04
BIOS Mode : UEFI
RAM : 8GB
