PC to SMART TV Via HDMI Not Working!?

Hi, I built a desktop a couple of days ago, my desktop has an hdmi jack so does my samsung 46 inch smart tv however when i connect the 2 it always tells me no signal.(HDMI 1)(HDMI/DVI)
My Desktop:
GA-Z77X-UP5-TH
Asus Geforce GTX 670
Intel i7 3770

is it on the motherboard where the usb ports are or the bottom expansion slots you have the hdmi plugged into?

it need to be plugged into the hdmi slot of the graphics card in the bottom horizontal expansion cards.

im using the hdmi jack in the back of the desktop, and what do u mean by hold the windows key and press p to extended mode or clone?,(I DONT HAVE A MONITOR)
