My daughter keeps complaining that her PC lags bad playing minecraft.. Is there a way to fix this. It's set on best performance in settings. Or is it simply a crappy laptop for this application.. Pls help..

Minecraft is a CPU based game. The CPU on this laptop isn't good enough for Minecraft. You might try bringing the settings down, if it isn't enough then there isn't that much you can do.

delete all the OEM acer branded software on the laptop unless it says card reader, touchpad, driver or hotbar etc.

also install ccleaner and run the file cleaner then run the registry cleaner multiple times.

go onto the start menu, type services.msc
find the superfetch service, right click it and select properties.
on startup type select disabled and hit apply.
hit stop also to stop it currently running and then go ok.

also what antivirus are you using on the laptop?
