On my custom pc, Windows 7 shuts down completely, but the fans and fan-LEDS stay powered, while the HDD light just stays on without flickering. After looking at similar threads, I believe I need to check "allow computer to turn off device" in device manager, but when I go to do so, the power management tab in the Properties dialog is missing. Under Device Manager, "Computer" is listed as "ACPIx64-based PC," and it also finds zero drivers when I open its properties and click, "Driver Details". It seems as if its being treated as this completely different entity under Device Manager.
My computer works fine otherwise. It's just annoying to have to hold down the power button every time I want to shut it down.
What settings can I change to fix this? I unfortunately haven't found any corresponding options in the UEFI.
Specs:
AsRock Z87 Extreme4 motherboard
Intel i7-4770K CPU
Seasonic 550W PSU
Corsair 500R Carbide Series (Has front and side panel fans)
Thanks in advance.
