i want to run physx on my gaming rig through my cpu (4.8ghz fx8350) and i cant seem to find the download for it / control panel download etc.

i dowloaded the newest nvidia physics drivers but there is no control panel that came with it so i uninstalled it.. anyone know where to get it/download it?

i want to run it though my cpu because i have 7990 graphics card/no nvidia card.

i though physx and nvidia physx were different ( one for cpu and one for gpu) but i cant find anything on a download for it for the cpu.

thanks in advance for any links / help.

Lol, I have a friend running PhysX on his FX 8350 and he seems to be fine. As long as you have the hybrid driver you'll be okay. The only game that'll screw you up is Batman Arkham Asylum. That game is heavy for some reason. Enjoy!

@Novuake, LOL! You're funny.

The code isn't "optimized properly", but that doesn't mean a CPU can't run it. The CPU used to be better and faster at a PhysX calculations. IMO, Nvidia are jerks for trying to make Physics a special feature for them only. #MarketingGimmick

From what I've seen, medium PhysX settings are possible with a decent CPU. I haven't heard much about high settings.

im pegged at 120fps on borderlands 2 running it over 3x 32" monitors/1080p tvs in eyefinity. so i want eye candy cuz i have plenty of headroom for it.

i know you can run it on the cpu, and thats what i want to do. so getting back on topic, id like to know where to get the control panel for it ><

You can have a 10GHz CPU, but if PhysX is not MADE to run on a CPU, it won't matter.
Nvidia actually BLOCKED PhysX from running properly on anything other than an Nvidia card.

You can find the setting in each game itself, it will be turned off by default though.
