Psu changed, cpu overclocking issues??

I recently changed out my 350w psu with a new 500w one. When starting the system it ran for a minute., then shutdown. On trying to restart there was a message saying CPU overclocking had occurred? Can anyone help explain what this means and if it can be rectified? When the computer tried to start again the graphics were all too pot! i have since reinstalled the original psu, and the computer loaded no problem! Thanks. Ranks50
