Installing Windows 8 on blank system from iso?

I'd just like to know if/how this is possible. I can find a whole bunch of info on upgrading from a previous version, but not on a new blank HDD.

yeah, pop the disc in, boot from CD drive and the installation starts. no different from buying the cd itself from microsoft. Just make sure when you burn the disc, you specify that it be made bootable.
