I have has an EVGA stock Titan card and never ran two cards in SLI before and I just ordered another stock EVGA Titan to run in SLI. My monitor is an ASUS PB 278 which supports 2560 x 1440 and I just wanted to know if I will see any difference at all or will it be incredible. I guess if I don't notice any difference I could always sell it on Ebay and get most of my money back. My PSU is an EVGA 850 Platinum Series which should be enough to power 2 Titans. Which game should I buy to test out my new set up?? I really appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Crysis 3. What are the rest of your specs?
Also, it's probably overkill.

You'll see an increase - in your electric bill.

Joking aside - you are probably already running at maximum settings on most games so you won't see much of an improvement.

Your 850 power supply should be able to handle both of them.

Also, do you think sound cards are a waste of money nowadays?

Do you just your sound card to listen to games or do you listen to music too? Do you use a headset, cheap speakers or a high end set of speakers?

If you're just playing games I don't think it makes that big of a deal these days - onboard sound cards have come a LONG way. It's mostly a matter of personal opinion if it sounds "right".

When I installed the second Titan, it hardly ever kicked in when in SLI. One Titan was plenty for my uses. I added a second monitor and I love it!
