CPU OPT Fan Speed Low

Running at half speed(540rpm) compared to all the rest(1000+). I thought it was because I was running a splitter to it but I took that off and ran the two exhaust fans to their own separate headers.

Worst part is I cant boost the speed in the ASUS Uefi bios, its the only fan that isnt adjustable.

What am I missing? Has it always been this way for most CPU_Opt headers?

Kind of need those two top fans running at full bore and my other headers are filled.

The only other option would be to run the splitter through ChanFan3 and put the Corsair H80 dummy header on the CPU_Opt.

Feedback appreciated, thanks!

OPT cpu is controlled with the cpu fan header. So if you want it faster, You have to disable Q-fan on the cpu fan header as well.

Placing the H80 on it would work as all that sends is speed information.

CPU opt should also speed up as the cpu gets warmer.
