I've got an AMD E-300 CPU 1.3GHz with 12GB of RAM (old and slow, I know). My problem is that the CPU always runs pretty high while the RAM stays very low, even when working with Photoshop or Illustrator. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to improve performance (BIOS settings, optimization software, etc.) or if I just have to live with it until I can save up enough to buy a new laptop.
