I will be using this computer mostly for homework but i want a computer that i can use as a gaming/editing computer when i can. If i missed anything or if there is a way i can make this cheaper and still be able to play high end games from now and possibly the future please tell me. Thank you.

The case that you chose doesn't have an onboard USB 3.0 header, so you're losing a bit of what this motherboard has to offer. Also you didn't include an hard drive. I think that we could do something inbetween with :

Really wouldn't recommend that combination of parts. If you are planning to buy a discrete graphics card anyway, drop the APU and get an AMD FX series processor. Low-end would be the FX-4300, mid FX-6300, and a discrete HD7770 would outperform the hybrid crossfire/dual graphics setup.

You should avoid power supplies that comes with cases, usually cheaply made fire hazards.

With a $1000 budget, obviously you can get something better than that, but I tried to stay around the price of the build that you had in mind, while getting much better performances, and also some much more reliable parts, like the power supply that I chose. So here it is :

$500, motherboard price in the above build is only available for in-store pick up at microcenter. Hmm, looks like the better deal at Newegg seems to be the FX6300, though there are a few $13 combo deals with the FX4300.

This way we get all that we actually need for the PC to work, and awesome performances for the price.
