Intel 4th generation 6 cores cpu recommended Motherboard ?

as title say, please tell me which is the best motherboard for i7-4930k, if you would recommend an asus motherboard then tell me which and why, since there is many x79 motherboards like sabertooth and p9x79 pro etc...

FYI to you PC Dave that even in August it was already very well known that the 4930K six core processor was going to be released in the Sept / October time frame. I hope you mean to stay more current when you answer questions in the future so that your expert status remains in tack.

Hi Snake, there is no such thing as an 4930k, and there are no 3rd or 4th generation 6 core CPUs available on the market yet.

I hope you mean 2nd Generation Sandy Bridge-E, which has a 3930k.
(note that Sandy Bridge-E is for video editors and professional use, Haswell is more optimized for gaming)

Regarding motherboards, it depends on what you need.
Do you want to have extreme overclocking, good looks, or just something thats a good value?
Do you have a certain budget?

I personally would however wait until the 3rd Generation Ivy Bridge-E processors come out however, as there will be performance improvements and new motherboards.

I was fully aware that the 4930k was an product coming up for release, note how I said on the market. (at that time)

My expert status will remain, its based on best answers.

I clearly even asked OP to wait for 3rd Gen CPUs, I couldn't recommend a motherboard as I didn't know what kind of motherboards would be released for Ivy Bridge-E.

Seems that you created this account just to say this, great job bumping an old thread.
