So I'm having what I'm pretty sure is a PSU problem, just wanted to make sure I've exhausted all my in house options before having to go through the hassle of either returning the PSU and getting a new one or just buying a new PSU out right.

First, the problem. My computer won't turn on. How'd it occur? My computer was giving me shit so I turned it off and flipped the switch at the back of the PSU which manually cuts power to the system. Then I hit the power button to dispel any static in the system. When I flipped the power switch at the back of the PSU to the on position and hit the power, computer wouldn't start. Kept on trying to troubleshoot. It's not the motherboard or any peripheral parts, I already swapped in a small 250w PSU I had from my first computer and powered up the mobo. After a bit I reset the CMOS and voila, it worked! Only problem is after about 15 minutes of running, it shut off again, and I haven't gotten it working since. I've tried unplugging the psu and letting it sit for 15 minutes, didn't work. Unplugged it again for 3 hours while I was at work. Came back, unplugged all the connectors inside the computer, and reset the CMOS and let the computer sit for half an hour. Didn't work and here I am.

Mobo: MSI 970A-G46
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance
GPUs: SLI GTX 560
PSU: Apevia Warlock 750w
Hard drive: 500gb Velociraptor & 500gb Samsung 7200k
Case: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I
OS: Win 7 64 bit

Any suggestions to get this thing working again and saving me the hassle of having to get a new one isgreatly appreciated!

I know what you're talking about and I have no paperclips around. Like I said, I got it working but it shut off 15 minutes later in the middle of me using my computer and hasn't come back on since.

It didn't power the whole system. The 250w was only plugged into the motherboard, meaning it was powering the mobo, the cpu and my Hyper 212 Evo. Wasn't powering either of my cards or any of the drives/peripherals.

Nah I've generally gotten good stuff from Apevia. This PSU hasn't given me a ounce of trouble in all the time I had it. It just acted up today and died doing something I've done on it a million times before. Weird situation really.
