I want to install an AMD FX 8350 on to a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 motherboard. It still has an AMD FX6100 Zambezi 3.3 gig CPU on the board. I updated the bios to F7 from F4. The board will not boot. My question is if I install the new CPU on the board, will it boot up?

Am working on that........last message said HDD where windows resides is locked. Trying to work around it. OS is Win 8 Pro, 64 bit.
Have installed another HHD, disconnected the others, and am reinstalling Win 8 Pro. System up and running. Thanks for the help.
